Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I will be going for a holiday over the New Year... After returning, hopefully, I will feel re-freshed and ready to find a new job and live a better life... At least lead a life where I am doing a job that I like...

However, sadly, the bottomline is still monthly financial commitments... I just wish I can do it sooner...

Anyway, hope you had a Merry Christmas! Here's wishing you all a Happy New Year! May 2008 be better than all previous years! :)

Busy busy busy...

Actually... this time, not very busy with work... I still had to rush out presentation material for management and to prepare briefings for others but I was also busy with other stuff...

Just had managed to settled my problems with SCV and wasted 2 Sundays doing so... And I will be flying come the end of the year and I am running around to get the stuff needed for a mild winter as I had seemed to misplace some of those essential stuff from the last trip...

The weekly charts were done but I had not prepared the links for the recommended new songs... But I may be skipping that as by now, they are like almost a month old liao... :| Will try to get them posted asap...

Also need to start writing stories liao!... Sorry for those waiting till necks long long for stories to happen... :\

And I had not prepared anything for Christmas yet!... No presents bought yet!...

Sheesh... And I might have to spend Christmas eve alone...

Buaya's EQ...

I took an EQ test and I scored 70% only...

Oh well... :p

Here's the results:

You scored 70% correct!
Remember you responses need to have been as honest as possible. If you feel that your score does not reflect you, please retake the test and answer each question in the way that best represents the way you typically feel.

Your score indicates that you have an average EQ.

People who typically score in this range are usually able to recognise and understand their feelings and to express them in an appropriate manner. They are fairly comfortable with who they are. In most circumstances they are not afraid to show love, empathy and compassion for other people. In general, they are comfortable with intimacy, and giving of themselves to other people.

They are pretty good communicators. They are fairly in tune with themselves and those around them. They generally know how to say the right thing at the right moment. They are good friends and partners. They are normally able to show anger in appropriate ways. More often than not, they are able to stand up for themselves when necessary, but also are not afraid to cry if they are hurt. They are able to admit when they are wrong and take steps to correct their mistakes. They are rarely unable to say they are sorry.

They are generally happy, well-rounded people. They accept challenges. They can stay motivated and focused in the face of setbacks. They are able to set goals for themselves and often achieve them. They are positive and optimistic about themselves, others around them, and their future.

However, just because people with an average EQ have a pretty good grasp on their emotions they still have plenty of room for emotional growth. They can continue to be introspective. They can continue to communicate with the people around them and continue to work on their goals. They can utilise what they have and continue to identify areas within themselves that need work.

Remember that a person's emotional intelligence never stops growing. Because we are always evolving as people, EQ is something that must be nurtured. If it isnt cultivated, emotional intelligence will disappear.

We wish you the best of luck with your future EQ.

What's yours? :p
